Cheryl Heissler

Cheryl Heissler has over 30 years of experience in the design and production industry. Cheryl began their career in 1991 as an Instructor in the Graphic Design Department at Elgin Community College. In 1996, they took on the role of Production Artist at Golf Core, Inc. where they designed and pre-pressed production of scorecards, yardage books, advertising collateral, sales materials, forms and in-house graphic materials. In 2004, they were hired as a Production Artist at Digital People. In 2006, they began working as a Freelance Designer at Redtail Fox Creative, where they designed marketing materials for print, packaging design, and collateral. Cheryl also took on the role of Adjunct Instructor at Westwood College O'Hare Airport Campus, and Faculty Art Director Advisor for the Westwood Phoenix Newsletter. In 2007, they were hired as Studio Manager and Art Director at Aisle Rocket Studios. In 2018, they took on the role of Graphic Designer at Blue Wave Products, and in 2021 they were hired as Graphic Design Manager at Freetime Fun. Most recently, in 2023, they were hired as Print Production Manager at Barco Products.

Cheryl Heissler began their educational career in 1979 at Waubonsee Community College. Cheryl then attended Elgin Community College from 1988 to 1991, earning an A.A, A.S, A.A.S in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, and Typesetting, respectively. In 2004, they completed a BAS in Visual Communication at Westwood College.
