Olivia FitzGerald is an experienced technical writer with a focus on documentation for NetApp data storage and hybrid cloud products. Currently employed by Bárd since October 2021, Olivia documents and maintains installation and maintenance guides using GitHub and VS Code. Prior experience at Bárd from September 2017 to February 2021 involved similar responsibilities in a DITA-based CMS. Additional roles include copyediting non-fiction and academic manuscripts at Deanta Global and freelance writing. Olivia holds a Higher National Diploma in Science in Computing from Letterkenny Institute of Technology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Technical Writing and Instructional Design from the University of Limerick, a Bachelor of Arts from The Open University, and coursework from Ulster University.
