Piet Arts

Piet Arts has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Piet started their career in 1992 at Zelder Bv as a Maize Breeder and later became the General Manager. In 2002, they joined Barenbrug Holland BV as the Manager of the Breeding Station. Piet worked in this role until 2015 when they were promoted to the position of Global Research Director. In 2005, they briefly worked at Seminis Vegetable Seeds as a Station Manager.

Piet Arts completed a Master's degree in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from Wageningen University & Research from 1982 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended Iowa Grant Highschool from 1981 to 1982. Between 1975 and 1981, Piet Arts attended Pax Christi, but the degree and field of study are not specified.
