Cheryl Meijer

Cheryl Meijer is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel M&A at Barentz since April 2022, Cheryl previously held positions at Rabobank from January 2018 to April 2022, focusing on group structuring and capital markets. Prior to Rabobank, Cheryl practiced as a lawyer in the Corporate/M&A sector at HVG Law in Amsterdam from December 2008 to December 2017. Cheryl's expertise encompasses cross-border M&A, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and commercial contracts. Additionally, Cheryl contributed to the Young Bar Association of Amsterdam as a board member from September 2010 to August 2012. Cheryl holds a cum laude degree from the Grotius Academie in Corporate and Business Law and an LLM in Law from Utrecht University.
