Mary Tanenbaum

Mary Tanenbaum is a seasoned professional in pharmaceutical development, currently serving as Technical & Development Manager at Barentz since June 2021. Prior to this role, Mary held the position of Technical Product Manager at IMCD US in the Pharmaceutical Division from November 2016 to September 2020. Mary’s extensive experience at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals spans over a decade, with significant contributions as Senior Scientist and Group Leader in Pharmaceutical Processing, where Mary utilized Quality by Design and Process Analytical Technology for drug formulation transfer. Additional roles at Boehringer Ingelheim included leadership in pediatric suspensions development, pulmonary drug packaging, and various scientific responsibilities across formulation and analytical chemistry. Early career experience at Wyeth Ayerst Laboratories involved developing analytical methods for drug stability and clinical testing. Mary holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Chemistry from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
