Rick Richard

Rick Richard has a strong background in sales and marketing, particularly in the food industry. Rick has held various high-level positions throughout their career, starting as a Food Technologist/Quality Assurance Manager at Nugget Distributors in 1990. Rick then went on to work as a Regional Sales Manager at The NutraSweet Company from 1995 to 1997. Rick joined Univar in 1998, where they held multiple roles including Account Executive Food Specialist, Sales Manager, Regional Food Industry Manager, and Director of Food Ingredients. In 2014, they joined Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc. as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Rick later became the Vice President of Business Development and Sales Process at Flavor Producers in 2019, and subsequently served as their Vice President of Sales until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Sales - USA at Barentz.

Rick Richard has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Additionally, they have attended the University of California, Davis for the Master Brewers Program in Brewing Science and Brewery Engineering, although they did not complete a degree at this institution.
