Sarah Derbyshire

Sarah Derbyshire is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Executive Director at Baringa since May 2023, leading the global Legal & Business Integrity function. Prior to this role, Sarah was the Global Legal Lead for Accenture Applied Intelligence from October 2015 to April 2023, where leadership involved enabling strategic growth as the chief legal adviser for the AI business. Sarah's career at Accenture also included positions as Associate Director and Senior Counsel within Global Services Legal, and Senior Counsel for Litigation and Disputes in the EMEA region. Before joining Accenture, Sarah worked as a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills from February 2005 to September 2015, and held a seconded role as Legal Counsel at Standard Chartered Bank in 2013-2014. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics from the University of Bristol and has studied at BPP Law School.
