Bill Awad

Bill Awad has extensive experience in the finance industry, with a focus on structured finance and securitized products. Bill started their career at Scudder Investments as a Vice President from 1992 to 1997. Bill then joined Columbia Management as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager from 1997 to 2001. In 2001, they moved to Barings, where they held various senior roles, including Managing Director and Senior/Lead Portfolio Manager from 2001 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they served as Co-Head of the Global Securitized Products Group at Barings. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Structured Finance at Barings since April 2018.

Bill Awad attended the University of Rochester from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science.
