Marcus Breuer

Marcus Breuer is an accomplished real estate finance professional with over 25 years of experience in various roles across the industry. Currently serving as Director of U.S. Real Estate Debt at Barings since 2021, Marcus leads efforts in sourcing and structuring lending solutions through a global investment platform. Previously, Marcus held the position of Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald, overseeing origination and underwriting for significant loan portfolios. Additional roles include Director at Guggenheim Partners and Global Realty Services Group, as well as experience as a self-employed consultant and Vice President at Deutsche Bank. Marcus began a career in real estate as a Project Manager with Fred Leeds Asset Group and as a Credit Analyst with U.S. Bank. Marcus holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
