Matthew Freund

Matthew Freund, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in managing and directing investment initiatives. Currently serving as Managing Director at Barings since June 2015, Matthew holds the positions of President for Barings BDC (NYSE: BBDC), Barings Private Credit Corp., and Barings Capital Income Corp. Prior to Barings, Matthew worked at US Bank in the Sponsor Finance Group from March 2012 to June 2015 and at Bank of America as a Credit Underwriter in the Middle Market from October 2009 to April 2012. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Saint Louis University and has furthered education at Loyola University Chicago.
