Tamas Biro

Tamas Biro has a diverse work experience spanning across different companies and roles. Tamas is currently serving as the Co-founder & CEO of Digital Readiness Institute, where they provide training, consulting, coaching, and organizational development services based on the free Digital Readiness Framework. Tamas also has experience as the Co-founder of Barion, a disruptive electronic payment system, where they played a key role in marketing and pricing strategy, resulting in significant merchant adoption and a VC investment of EUR 6 million. Tamas was also the Director Of Marketing And Public Relations at Barion. Tamas co-founded Sense/Net Inc and served as the CTO, Director Of Marketing And Product Management, Scrum Master & Agile Coach, and Agile Transformation expert during their time there. Additionally, they have worked as a Business Architect & Agile Expert at BiroTom as a freelancer, where they focus on training and advising companies in the field of Business Architecture & Agile Transformation.

Tamas Biro began their education in 1988 at Karinthy Frigyes, where they pursued a degree but the specific field of study is unknown. In 1993, they attended both Nottingham Trent University and Kandó Kálmán College, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Integrated Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Tamas obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2010 and the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2011. Tamas also obtained the Professional Scrum Master certification from scrum.org in February 2013, followed by the Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from scrum.org in the same month and year. Additionally, Tamas earned a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge in December 1992.
