Ramya Swaminathan has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. Ramya started their career as a Digital Design Intern at DDB in 2019. Ramya then worked as a Digital Communications Design Intern and a Summer Digital Communications Intern at Syracuse University, where they created digital content for various organizations and events on campus. Ramya also served as a Research Assistant and a Design Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University. Ramya expanded their skills as a Freelance Web Designer at AADI International Trading FZE & Advanced Agencies Development International FZE, where they designed websites and engaged in creative copywriting. Currently, they are working as an Associate Art Director at BARKER, where they are involved in concepting, designing, and art directing advertisements and promotional content for clients. Overall, Ramya has a strong background in art direction, web design, and digital communications.

Ramya Swaminathan pursued their education in a diverse range of institutions and programs. Ramya began their educational journey at the Indian Language School from 2003 to 2015, where they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2015, they attended the American International School of Lagos. Ramya then enrolled in the Universal American School Dubai from 2015 to 2018, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate, although they did not attain a degree in this period.

In 2016, Ramya participated in a summer program at Harvard University, undertaking a course in Principles of Economics. Additionally, in 2017, they attended a summer program at Parsons School of Design - The New School, focusing on Graphic Design.

Ramya Swaminathan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communications Design at Syracuse University from 2018 to 2022.

Aside from their formal education, Ramya obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing from HubSpot in December 2021.
