Matt Mills has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in creative and design. Matt is currently the EVP, Creative - FUEL at Barkley, where they have been working since 2012. Before that, they served as the SVP, Group Creative Director and Creative Director at Barkley. Prior to joining Barkley, Matt worked as an Associate Creative Director at Barkley and a Senior Designer at an international shoe retailer.

In addition to their agency experience, Matt has also worked as a Continuing Education Instructor at Kansas City Art Institute, teaching Web Design and Development. Matt was an Art Director at Clickfarm Interactive, where they were responsible for UI/UX design and front-end development. Matt also served as an Art Director at BlueBIke Architects, leading the rebranding efforts and providing design services to clients.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as an Art Director at Halls Kansas City and Herald Publishing House. Matt started their professional journey as a Graphic Designer at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where they also served as a Student Ambassador and Resident Assistant.

Matt Mills attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration.
