Matthew Lonergan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Matthew began their career in the US Army Rangers, serving as a Sergeant and participating in missions both domestically and overseas. After their military service, Matthew joined Microsoft as a Solutions Sales Professional, where they worked for six years. During this time, they also played a key role as a Relief Coordinator in supporting rescue efforts during Hurricane Katrina.
In 2013, Matthew transitioned to Citrix as a Senior Sales Engineer, advising commercial organizations on the Citrix XenMobile product set. Matthew achieved notable success by securing the largest XenMobile sale to date in the healthcare vertical, worth $10 million. Matthew then moved on to Jitterbit in 2016, initially working as a Senior Sales Engineer before being promoted to Senior Partner Architect - Channels. In this position, they excelled in driving channel partnerships and architecting solutions.
Most recently, Matthew joined Barnet Associates as an Integration Engineer in 2023.
Matthew Lonergan attended the College of Marin from 1981 to 1983, where they studied Business. In 1982, they also attended the Army Journalism School and obtained a degree in Army Journalism, specializing in Journalism. Prior to that, in 1978, Matthew successfully completed the Army Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP), focusing on Small Unit Tactics. Additionally, from 1976 to 1977, they studied Business at Pepperdine University, although no specific degree was attained.
