Danny’s work encompasses all areas of consultancy, including investment strategy and pension scheme design as well as actuarial valuations and funding advice. Project work includes sales and purchases, de-risking and winding-up schemes.
Danny advises a range of clients in the financial services, shipping & transport and not-for-profit sectors, with pension fund client sizes ranging from £20m to £1bn. His current role includes coordination of the services that we provide to pension scheme trustee clients. Danny also advises a portfolio of pension scheme clients as Scheme Actuary.
Danny graduated from Churchill College, Cambridge in 1991 with a first-class degree in mathematics. He joined the pensions consultancy team in our London office in September 1991, qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1997 and became a partner of Barnett Waddingham in 1999.
Besides the UK, Danny's client work has taken him across Europe, as well as to Argentina, Bangladesh and Russia. He is a regular contributor to the pensions press.
