Marjan Abd

Marjan Abd has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer at Bank Melli Iran in 2001 and worked there for 15 years. In 2016, Marjan transitioned to become a Stock Trader, gaining valuable expertise in financial markets and developing strong communication and decision-making skills. In 2021, they completed a rigorous software development program at Ada Developers Academy, acquiring hands-on experience in full-stack web application development. Marjan then interned as a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services, where they contributed to providing actionable insights for internal developers. They also joined AnitaB.org as a Grace Hopper Celebration Scholar, gaining insights into the latest technology trends and expanding their professional network. Currently, Marjan is a Full Stack Engineer at Barnstorm Research Corporation, responsible for developing software solutions to support research initiatives and collaborating with other teams for system integration.

Marjan Abd began their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tabriz, which lasted from 2001 to 2005. They then pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the same university, studying from 2009 to 2011.
