David Goldsmith

David joined Baron in 2006 as a research analyst and has 17 years of research experience. In 2016 he was named assistant portfolio manager of Baron Small Cap Fund. From 2001 to 2004, David worked at Claiborne Capital Group as a research analyst. From 1999 to 2001, David worked at Banc of America Securities as an investment banking healthcare analyst. David graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics in 1999 and from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an M.B.A. in 2006.
