Junhong Li

Junhong Li is a Geotechnical Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since August 2018, providing geotechnical engineering support to mining, pipeline, wind-energy, and solar-energy clients through various project work including geotechnical investigations, construction observation, geohazards assessment, and modeling tasks. Prior to this role, Junhong Li served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Akron from January 2014 to May 2018 during the pursuit of a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering, and at Michigan Technological University from April 2013 to November 2013, where involvement in a Michigan DOT project focused on intelligent compaction of roadway bases and subbases occurred. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. degree in Geotechnical Engineering from The University of Akron and a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
