Kate K.

Kate K. is a structural engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Structural Engineer in Training at Barr Engineering Co. since May 2019, Kate has developed innovative tools such as a stability analyses spreadsheet and a widely adopted FBD template in Revit. Previously, as a Design Engineer at Robert Darvas Associates, Kate contributed to multiple design projects and automated several processes using Dynamo. Early in the career, Kate interned at Walbridge, where notable contributions included project engineering functions for the William G. Milliken Outdoor Adventure Center, and at Eastern Market Corporation, focusing on grant applications and administrative support. Kate holds a Master's of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University.
