Kate Sinner is an accomplished Environmental Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since June 2017, specializing in NPDES permitting and compliance while aiding clients with water-related compliance challenges. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where Kate prepared and taught hydraulics and hydrology laboratory classes, and as a Student Worker with the Lake Superior Beach Monitoring Program, collecting E. coli samples. Additional experience encompasses conducting research for environmental impact reports, coordinating educational programs at the International Wolf Center, and leading outdoor education initiatives at various camps. Kate holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Graduate Certificate in Stream Restoration Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.
