Abdul Haqani

Abdul Haqani is a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Barracuda, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Qlik and Senior Software Developer at CIBC Capital Markets. At Qlik, Abdul successfully led the multi-factor authentication initiative, significantly increasing MFA adoption, and implemented end-to-end solutions utilizing React, NodeJS, Go, DynamoDB, and AWS, achieving substantial performance improvements. While at CIBC, Abdul developed Golang microservices for payment processing, enhanced system efficiency, and played a key role in the implementation of a B2B payment system with VISA. Early career experience includes data analysis and AI software development at Statistics Canada. Abdul holds both a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computing Technology from the University of Ottawa.
