Claire Kanani has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Claire began their career as a Marketing Assistant at Leeds College of Art in 1997. Claire then went on to work as a Numismatic Book Dep Administrator at Spink & Son in 1998. From there, they worked as an Advertising Sales Coordinator at Newsweek for six years before transitioning to Newsweek Daily Beast, where they held roles as a Marketing Executive and eventually rose to the position of Marketing Manager. During their time at Newsweek Daily Beast, they project managed a collaborative program valued at $6 million. In 2013, Claire joined Cambridge Publishing Management as a Marketing professional. Claire then served as a Marketing Manager at Ferrier Pearce Creative Group, where they developed long-term marketing strategies and implemented social media strategies. In 2016, they joined LogicMelon as a Marketing Executive and was later promoted to Marketing Manager, where they focused on increasing brand awareness and engagement. Their most recent role was as a Marketing Lead at Barracudas Activity Day Camps, overseeing digital marketing initiatives.

Claire Kanani completed their education from 1987 to 1994 at Hinchingbrooke. Claire then pursued a degree in History of Art from the University of Leeds from 1994 to 1997. In 2018, Claire obtained a certification in Mailchimp Introduction from Media Training Ltd.
