Clement Walusiku has extensive experience in safety and health within the mining and exploration sectors, currently serving at Barrick Gold Corporation since October 2020 in various roles including Drilling & Exploration Safety & Health for feasibility studies and Acting Senior Safety Officer. With a background that includes over eight years at Barrick Gold and previous positions as an Emergency Management Specialist and HSE Technician at Equinox Minerals Limited, Clement has also been elected as a member of the Zambia Occupational Health and Safety National Executive Committee for the term 2019-2024. Clement holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment from the University of Africa, alongside qualifications from NCRQ and NEBOSH, as well as a diploma from Coppertone University and a certificate in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
