Jim McIntosh

Jim (James) McIntosh is an experienced lawyer and managing partner at Barriston LLP since 1999, specializing in advising municipal corporations on land development, municipal land acquisitions, zoning matters, and expropriation administration. Prior roles include associate lawyer positions at Anderson, Sinclair, Anthony M. Speciale, and Loopstra, Nixon & McLeish, where Jim worked on corporate commercial transactions, litigation, real estate dealings, and estate planning. Jim holds a Law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science and Philosophy from York University, with Bar Admission achieved in 1988.
