George Karway

George Karway is currently a Research Post Doctoral Fellow at Barrow Neurological Institute since July 2023, following a role as Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where the focus was on utilizing electronic health records and clinical decision support tools for critical illness management. Experienced in academic publishing, George served on the editorial board of JAMIA from February 2021 to February 2023, reviewing manuscripts and managing journal discussions. Previous roles include research positions at Mayo Clinic, contributing to diabetes education interventions, and engaging in various support and mentoring positions at Arizona State University. George holds a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Arizona State University and a BS-MS in the same field, complemented by a teaching certificate from Zorzor Rural Teacher Training Institute.
