Marissa Dominick is a Research Technician II at the Barrow Neurological Institute, where responsibilities include managing the ALS Post-Mortem Tissue Bank to advance research on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other neurodegenerative diseases. Previously, Marissa held various positions at Carnegie Mellon University, including Community Advisor and Women's Soccer ID Camp Coach, along with significant roles as a Residential Advisor and Student Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, contributing to research on neurotrauma. Marissa also interned as a Medical Liaison at Force Impact Technologies Inc., assisting in the development of a concussion detection mouth guard. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Midwestern University.
