Helena Tattersfield

Helena Tattersfield is a Research Technician I at Massachusetts General Hospital, beginning in April 2024. Previous experience includes a Biotherapeutic Engineer Co-Op at Takeda, where contributions were made to high-throughput bacteriophage display screenings and characterization of therapeutic candidates, and a De Novo Discovery Biochemistry Co-Op at FogPharma, focusing on gene transformations and protein purifications. Helena also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Eduardo Sontag Lab at Northeastern University, aiding in the development of databases for mathematical modeling in systems biology, while enhancing MATLAB skills and understanding of systems biology and the immune system. Earlier roles include supervisory and customer service positions at Hilliards House of Candy, Dillon's Restaurant, and Tommy Doyles Irish Pub-Rstrnt. Helena holds a Master’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Northeastern University, expected in December 2023, and completed an undergraduate degree in the same field with a minor in Chemistry from Northeastern University in May 2022.
