Zoe Lesher

Zoe Lesher is a Laboratory Technician with experience at the University of Virginia and the Barrow Neurological Institute. At the University of Virginia, Zoe monitors blood glucose levels of Type 1 Diabetes research participants for the Center of Diabetes Technology and assists in laboratory tasks at Janes Lab, including auto-cleaving and DNA cloning. In addition, Zoe conducts Alzheimer's research at the Mufson laboratory, specializing in immunohistochemistry and tissue analysis while exploring connections between Down Syndrome and Alzheimer's Disease. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Virginia, Zoe is expected to graduate in May 2024.
