Ann Duponcheel

Ann Duponcheel has extensive experience in regulatory and trade affairs, currently serving as Director of Regulatory Affairs EMEA at Barry Callebaut Group since March 2011, following roles as Global Regulatory and Trade Affairs Manager and Trade Regulatory Affairs Manager. Responsibilities include managing trade agreements, customs regulations, and educational initiatives on compliance for import and export processes across various regions. Prior to Barry Callebaut, Ann worked as Registration Manager at FMC and as Regulatory Manager at GODIVA chocolatier, where contributions included the organizational structuring of the regulatory department and reforming labeling systems. Earlier positions include Communication Manager at Phytofar, where networking and lobbying efforts were directed toward the crop protection industry, and a researcher role at KULeuven. Ann holds a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from KU Leuven and completed a program at Vlerick Business School in 2006.
