Michelle Zapanta

Michelle Zapanta currently serves as the HSE Manager and Operational Trainer at Barry Callebaut Group since November 2022. Previously, Michelle held various roles at Valero Energy Corporation from May 2006 to November 2022, including Step-Up Operations Supervisor, Control Board Operator, Industrial Fire Fighter, Employee Safety Leadership Team Chair, Lead VPP Coordinator, and Co-Chair of the Employee Safety Leadership Team. Michelle's early career in real estate began as a Real Estate Salesperson at NorCal Realty & Financial Services from July 2004 to September 2005 and continued as a Real Estate Agent at Realty Webb from 2005 to 2009. Michelle is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership at Columbia Southern University, projected to complete in December 2025, and previously earned an Associate of Science in Business from the same institution. Michelle also attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2001 to 2002.
