Marie Downing, Ed.D., serves as the Grants Manager and previously held the position of Grants Analyst at Victor Valley Transit Authority since August 2017. In addition to this role, Marie has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Barstow Community College and an Adjunct Professor at Greenville College since 2013 and 2014, respectively. Previously, Marie worked as the Education Director at Sage College and held various educational leadership roles, including Director of Education at Glen Oaks and Associate Director of Education at UEI College. Marie's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Student Services at Kaplan College and Business Instructor at Maric College. Marie's educational background includes a Doctorate in Higher Education and Adult Learning from Walden University, an MBA from Kaplan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from California Baptist University.
