Sara Young

Sara Young is a seasoned professional in mental health and occupational therapy, currently serving as a Senior Mental Health Clinician at Barwon Health since February 2020. With a diverse background that includes roles such as Mental Health Promotion Officer, OT Student Coordinator, and Therapy Clinician, Sara has extensive experience in community mental health. In addition to current positions at St John of God Health Care as an Arts in Health Project Officer and YO-T Yoga and Occupational Therapy as a Senior Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Sara has also contributed to academia as a Sessional Lecturer at Deakin University. Previous experience includes a Mental Health Occupational Therapist role with the Ministry of Health & Medical Services and community-focused positions at Alfred Health. Sara holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice from La Trobe University, completed between 2011 and 2014.
