Simon Montgomery

Simon Montgomery has extensive experience in health and strategic planning, currently serving as Director of Service Planning and Adviser of Strategy and Planning at Barwon Health since March 2020. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at the Department of Health & Human Services in Victoria from November 2012 to March 2020, including Acting Manager of Cancer Services and Information and Senior Project Officer at the Victorian Cancer Agency, where responsibilities included leading the competitive grants program for translational cancer research. Simon's experience also includes roles at the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages, and the Department of State Development, Business and Innovation, with a background in project management, event coordination, and business plan development. An academic foundation was established with a Bachelor’s degree in Science/Education from Monash University.
