Pernille Hvid Larsen

Senior Consultant at BASE life science

Pernille Hvid Larsen has extensive work experience in the life science industry. Pernille Hvid started their career in 2007 at Novozymes as an Associate Scientist, where they were involved in investigating prediction of input parameters for optimal production strains in Fungi and Bacillus. Pernille Hvid also set up automated workflows and handled data analytics, including operating robots.

Throughout their time at Novozymes, Larsen took on various roles, including Senior Research Associate, Senior Research Associate in the Digi Task Force, and Task Force Senior Research Associate. In these positions, they worked on projects related to improving protein secretion, implementing operational tools for scientific data management, and supporting prioritized assignments and projects in the RD area of the company.

Larsen's experience also includes working in the department of Bacterial Gene Technology, where they focused on production strains, transformation, electroporation, conjugation, and assay development. Pernille Hvid also gained experience in screening, robot systems, and processing large quantities of data.

In 2023, Larsen will join BASE life science as a Senior Consultant.

Pernille Hvid Larsen's education history is as follows:

From 2005 to 2008, Pernille attended Roskilde Erhvervsakademi and obtained a degree in Lab. Technician.

In 2014 to 2015, Pernille studied at At Work Skolen and acquired a Personal Trainer certification with a field of study in Fitnessmedhjælper.

From 2002 to 2004, Pernille attended Svendborg Gymnasium, where the degree obtained is unspecified, but the field of study was HF.

In 2001 to 2002, Pernille completed the 10th grade at Oure Sport & Performance.

Furthermore, Pernille also holds additional certifications, including Half Double Project Management from the Half Double Institute, earned in February 2023, and Python Data Structures from Coursera, obtained in August 2019.
