Minna Karttunen

Minna Karttunen has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Minna is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at Basemark since September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Foudia from October 2019 to July 2020 and was a Member of the Board from November 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining Foudia, Minna worked at Technopolis Plc as the Director of Acquisitions from April 2019 to August 2019. Minna also held the position of Head of IR at Technopolis Plc, where they were responsible for investor relations and financial communications from June 2017 to April 2019. Additionally, they served as the acting corporate Risk Management Officer during their tenure.

In their earlier career, Minna worked as a Senior Advisor in IR and Financial Communications at Pohjoisranta Burson-Marsteller from November 2015 to May 2017. Minna was a Specialist Partner at Jonver Capital Oy from October 2014 to November 2015 and an Entrepreneur, serving as a Senior Consultant and Client Relations Director at S e r v I R, a consulting, training, and outsourcing firm specializing in investor and financial communications and IR. Minna founded S e r v I R in 2011 and worked there until November 2015.

Minna also has experience in investor relations and corporate finance. Minna served as the Director of Investor Relations at Rautaruukki Oyj from August 2008 to August 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Hill & Knowlton, Finland as an Account Director in IR and financial communications from August 2007 to June 2008. Minna began their career at Carnegie Investment Bank AB, Finland Branch as a Project Manager in Corporate Finance from October 2005 to August 2007 and as an Associate in Corporate Finance from August 2004 to September 2005. Minna also worked as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Evli Bank Plc from March 2000 to June 2002.

Throughout their career, Minna has held various leadership positions and has gained expertise in financial management, investor relations, corporate finance, and risk management.

Minna Karttunen completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BScBA) degree in International Business from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu in 1997. Minna then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Finance from the same institution and graduated in 2004.
