Alexander Doberstau

Alexander Doberstau has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Alexander began their career in 2005 as an Apprentice at Upstalsboom Strandhotel Gerken. Alexander then joined Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in 2008, where they worked as a Reservations Agent, Reservations Supervisor, and later as an Assistant Revenue Manager until 2013. In 2014, they became an Area Revenue Manager at Anantara Hotels, Resorts, and Spas.

In 2015, Alexander joined Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates again, this time as the Director of Revenue Management. Alexander held this position until 2017, when they transitioned to become the Director of Revenue Management at Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin. Simultaneously, in 2017, they also started their own consultancy firm called AD-Consulting, working as a Self Employed consultant until 2020.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as the Global Operations Manager at TSA Solutions. In 2021, they joined Think United Group as the Head of Business Development Hospitality. Later in the same year, they moved to Basecamp Student and took on the role of Corporate Head of Revenue Management.

Their most recent role, starting in June 2023, is the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at BaseStack.

Alexander Doberstau attended Berufsbildende Schule Wittmund from 2005 to 2008. During their time at the school, they pursued a degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management and successfully obtained the qualification of Hotelfachmann.
