Bonnie McCaig

Bonnie McCaig is the Head of Data Governance for BASF Seeds and Traits R&D, where they lead initiatives to establish and implement data management best practices that support FAIR data principles. Bonnie has extensive experience in research and product development, having previously served as the Knowledge Cube Product Owner and Senior Scientist at BASF. They earned a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of California, Riverside, and have held various academic and research positions, including a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Georgia, where they studied plant laccases. Bonnie also holds an MBA in Marketing and Project Management from North Carolina State University.
