Nina Schwab-Hautzinger

Nina Schwab-Hautzinger is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and government relations, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications and Government Relations at BASF since November 2020. Previous roles include significant positions at Roche from March 2014 to October 2020, where key responsibilities encompassed corporate brand management, public affairs, and media spokesperson duties. Prior to Roche, Nina was with Hill+Knowlton Strategies, contributing as a senior counsel in healthcare communications and program development. Nina's career began at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, leading global media relations and communications strategies, and also includes foundational experience in brand identity at Wirz Identity AG. Nina holds a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich, alongside degrees from the University of Mannheim and the University of Waterloo, specializing in communications, literature, and sociology.
