Henry Green

VP, Land at Basin Oil and Gas

Mr. Green joined Basin in 2015. Mr. Green is a Certified Professional Landman and oversees Basin’s Land efforts. As Vice President of Land, Mr. Green manages Basin’s land-related functions, including creating and managing leases, rights-of-way, joint ventures, farm-outs/farm-ins, title, and other oil and gas agreements. Mr. Green maintains a close working relationship with Basin’s partners’ Land departments to effectuate the Company’s development efforts.

Prior to joining Basin, Mr. Green worked with the Principals at Bluestem Energy Partners, LP. While at Bluestem, Mr. Green oversaw Bluestem’s drilling program and was responsible for adding several thousand acres of drilling inventory in the Permian Basin.

Before Bluestem, Mr. Green served as a Senior Landman at XTO Energy Inc. performing all Land related functions including drilling horizontal wells and acquiring new properties.

In additional to oil and gas, Mr. Green has worked in cattle ranching, banking and futures trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Mr. Green earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University. He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, and IPAA.
