Paul Monahan

Paul Monahan is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Geologist at Basin Oil and Gas since January 2024, Monahan previously worked as a Project Engineer at Hill & Wilkinson General Contractors and as Lead Geologist at Silver Creek Permian, LLC, where over 15 wells were proposed and managed with precision. Monahan's background includes significant tenure at Silver Creek Oil & Gas, LLC, managing operated assets across Oklahoma and Texas and gaining expertise in horizontally targeted horizons. Earlier roles involved providing technical support as a Geoscience Intern at Pioneer Natural Resources Company and XTO Energy, focusing on AFE generation and geologic prognosis. Monahan holds a Master of Science in Geology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
