Vanessa Ying du

Vanessa Ying Du is an experienced professional in international education and student services, currently serving as the International Student Program Manager at BASIS Independent Schools since October 2017. In this role, Vanessa oversees international admissions and marketing for multiple campuses, fosters collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and provides support to international students. Previously, Vanessa held the position of Director of Chinese Services at Expert Admissions, managing admissions advising and marketing efforts for Chinese-speaking families. Additional experience includes credential evaluation at World Education Services, graduate admissions assistance at Columbia University, and various internships focused on international student services and human resources at respected organizations such as the United Nations and the Institute of International Education. Vanessa holds a Master of Arts in International Education Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from Beijing Language and Culture University.
