Junichi Hasegawa

Junichi Hasegawa started their work experience in 1996 as the Manager of Product Development at PeopleSoft Japan, K.K. Junichi then worked as a Developer at PeopleSoft, Inc. in 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they served as the Director of Technical Marketing and the Toyota Project Manager at PeopleSoft Japan, K.K.

In 2000, Hasegawa became the President of Amazon Japan, where they launched the amazon.co.jp site. Junichi later joined Basic Technology, K.K. as a Corporate Advisor from 2001 to 2002.

From 2002 to 2006, they held various roles at PeopleSoft Japan, K.K., including Director of Marketing, Senior Director of Sales Operations, Global Account Director for the Toyota Group, and Senior Director of Solution Consulting.

Hasegawa joined Oracle Corporation Japan in 2006 as the Senior Director of Sales Operations and later became the VP of Operations from 2008 to 2017.

In 2017, they co-founded the Kea Institute, where they served as the President until 2019. Junichi then worked at Basis Technology from 2017 to 2018 as the Senior Managing Director and the VP of Asia. Since 2020, Hasegawa has been the Chief Platform Officer at ZEST Inc., where they are responsible for planning and executing the platform strategy.

Junichi Hasegawa started their education in 1979 at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Control Engineering. Junichi successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1983. Later, in 1989, they enrolled at the MIT Sloan School of Management to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Junichi completed their studies at MIT in 1991.
