Chris Timmins has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting in 2006, they began as a Sales Associate at Trail Creek Outfitters. They then moved on to work as an Executive Assistant at Condé Nast from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they joined JetBlue Airways, where they served as part of their Corporate Sales team until 2010 and then took on the role of Brand Partnerships, managing the "Live From T5" concert series. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Account Manager at Salon Media Group, Inc. In 2015, they became a Partnerships Manager at Upworthy. Since 2016, they have been working at Basis Technologies as a Senior Account Lead, leading a team in partnership design for clients in various industries.

Chris Timmins completed their MFA in Fiction Writing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in the years 2011-2014. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in English from West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2002-2005. Additionally, they briefly attended Connecticut College in 2001-2002, focusing on the study of English Literature. In terms of certifications, Chris completed the "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" course from LinkedIn and acquired the "Basis Certification for Sales" from Centro in the year 2020.
