Stephen Shea Arm, Ciop

Stephen Shea has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Stephen started their career at Brown and Brown Insurance in 2009, where they worked as a Commercial Insurance Advisor and also performed internal financial and IT audits as an Internal Auditor. In 2011, they joined Sigma Underwriting Managers as a Small Business Unit Manager and Account Executive, responsible for program management and training junior underwriters. Since 2017, Stephen has been working at Bass Underwriters, where they held various roles including Director of Internal Sales Operations and Director of Operations and Internal Sales. Currently, they serve as the Executive Director of Underwriting Operations at Bass Underwriters.

Stephen Shea, ARM, CIOP has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business. Stephen also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a focus on Finance from the UCF College of Business. In addition to their degrees, Stephen Shea has obtained certifications such as the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes in August 2020 and the Chartered Insurance Operations Professional from THE CIOP INSTITUTE in October 2019.
