Melissa Whitaker

Melissa Whitaker possesses extensive experience in leadership and management within the home decor industry. Currently serving as President/CEO at Bassett Mirror Company, Inc. since September 2018, previous roles at the company include President/COO, Executive Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer, and Senior Vice President of Merchandising. Prior to this, Melissa held the position of Director of Home Decor at Bassett Mirror Company from April 2013 to January 2020. Earlier in the career, Melissa worked at Cooper Classics Inc. from 2002 to March 2013 in various roles including Sales Manager and Director of Sourcing, and held an accountant position at Foti, Flynn, Lowen & Co. from July 1999 to March 2002. Melissa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business between 1995 and 1999.
