Caroline Friedman

Caroline Friedman's work experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Bastion, where they oversee the company's operations. Caroline was also a Founding Member and Head of Operations at Bastion, responsible for integrating web3 infrastructure into existing technologies. Prior to that, they worked as Chief of Staff at a16z Crypto, Chief of Staff and Regulatory Strategy Counsel at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, and Fellow at Blockchain Trust Accelerator at New America. Additionally, they have experience as an Assistant United States Attorney and Special Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorneys' Offices, as well as an Associate Attorney at JONES DAY. Caroline also worked as a Law Clerk at INTERPOL and a Research Assistant at the National Defense University.

Caroline Friedman holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law. Caroline also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science (Minor: Journalism) from the University of Arizona. In addition, Caroline has pursued further education and obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in National Security from Georgetown University Law Center.
