Shubhankar (Shub) Basu, PhD

Shubhankar (Shub) Basu, PhD has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. In 2016, they co-founded BASU.COM, an Internet of Things (IoT) Smart Safety and Security solutions company, where they served as both Co-Founder and Board Member, as well as Co-Founder and CEO. In 2020, they joined Utah Tech Labs as an Advisor for IoT Solutions, and in 2021, they became the Head of Product Management at Roambee. From 2015-2016, Shub was the Director of ASIC Product Management at Avera Semiconductor LLC. From 2011-2012, they were a Senior Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. In 2012, they co-founded Decision Point Business Solutions (DPBS) and served as Co-Founder and Product Head. From 2008-2011, they were a Sales Technical Leader at Cadence. From 2003-2008, they were a Research Assistant and Project Lead at the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Project Leader at Spike Technologies (currently Qualcomm Corp). Finally, from 2001-2003, they were a Design Engineer at NXP Semiconductors.

Shubhankar (Shub) Basu completed their PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University.
