John Martorana has a long and varied career in the field of client communications and account management. Starting in 1997, they worked as an Associate Manager of Stock Programs at Telcordia Technologies. In this role, they were a subject-matter expert for Telcordia Technologies stock ownership programs, managed an intranet website, oversaw creative direction, content selection, graphic design, legal review, and production of a color brochure, and edited a quarterly stock programs newsletter. In 2000, they worked as a Communications Specialist at AST Stockplan, Inc. where they created brochures, Powerpoint presentations, forms, letters and other communication pieces for AST StockPlan clients, conducted training seminars for plan participants on stock purchase and option plans, and participated in client benefits enrollment fairs when required. That same year, they began working at Citigroup as a Manager of Client Communications, where they supervised a 5-person team focused on client education and communications efforts, produced written benefit plan materials pursuant to clients’ communications strategy, and provided training seminars to new clients in concert with financial consultants. In 2004, they began working at Bear Stearns as a Benefits Communications Specialist, where they were part of a 2-person team that designed and delivered benefits communications for Bear Stearns health, insurance and retirement plans. John also created a new-hire benefits presentation incorporating content, analysis and review from benefits department heads and delivered weekly benefits presentations to Bear Stearns new-hires for 2 years. In 2007, they began working at Lansdale Presbyterian Church as the Director of Sr. High Ministries, where they directed the church's ministry to senior high school age students (ages 14 – 18), led an annual youth missions trip, coordinated fundraising, team building, administration, and spiritual training, and planned a monthly calendar of youth events. Finally, in 2010, they began working at Benefit Allocation Systems, LLC as an Account Manager, and later as an Assistant Client Services Manager.
John Martorana attended North Arlington High School from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a diploma in College Prep. John then attended Rutgers University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a B.A. in History.
