Mylea Bayless has extensive experience in wildlife conservation and partnership development. Currently serving as Chief of Strategic Partnerships at Bat Conservation International since March 2006, Mylea is instrumental in establishing a national network of supporters and enhancing partnerships with various entities. Previously, as Senior Director of Conservation for the US and Canada at BCI, Mylea led critical initiatives addressing major conservation challenges. Prior to BCI, Mylea worked as a Research Specialist II at the Arizona Game and Fish Department, conducting applied wildlife research, and served as Assistant Project Leader for a long-term Mexican Spotted Owl demography study while affiliated with the University of Minnesota and Humboldt State University. Mylea holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University.
