Pablo Mendes de León

Pablo Mendes de León has extensive experience in finance and management roles. Pablo has served as CFO at Batavia Biosciences since May 2019, and previously worked as Head of Finance at the same company. Before that, they held positions such as Senior Financial Accountant at Propertize, Senior Program Manager at SNS REAAL, and Finance Director at Schroders. Earlier in their career, they were also an Audit Manager at KPMG Nederland and held various financial roles at companies like Alfa Laval and Bouwinvest.

Pablo Mendes de León completed a Master's degree in Economics at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences from 1987 to 1991. Pablo then went on to earn a Chartered Accountant (RA) qualification in Post-master Accountancy from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1991 and 1995. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications over the years, including "Inzicht in invloed" from Bureau Zuidema in 2018 and "ISAE 3402 Essentials" from Constitute in 2017.
